Backsplash ideas?

Any ideas for a backsplash? I will be getting Viatera Lumina counters. "Lumina is a long veined white design with warm gray and golden veins. Spider webbing between the veins capturing the realism of natural stone. Lumina’s beauty is ageless."

Don't mind the half-finished kitchen. Molding, trim, paint to come. (Also accepting ideas for wall paint. I thought I would like a nice alabaster but its getting blander by the day.)

Your finishes are neutral so you could pick just about any color for a backsplash! Pale aqua could look nice.

Your cabinets appear warm white and the counter material you chose looks like it has a cool undertone. Have you checked to make sure they look good against each other? Not just in the showroom, but in your actual space? (I have to bring it up because it's a really common regret on Houzz.)

You desperately need a shot of life in that space -- either from a color or a dark-light contrast.

But I think color is going to be your best friend -- soft, bold, anything really. Some ideas:

Thank you. Yes, definitely going with white. We have to make wall color choice prior to closing, so going with their white which is one shade of white I don't care for. Will be bringing in backsplash later. Just not sure what would go well with super white stone, which I love.

It is perfection! The grout lines completely disappear so the blue grey color of the tile is the star. (Well and that stunning marble!) The white shelves look great too! Looks like you are on the home stretch with lighting and the last finishing touches. I am looking forward to the final reveal. I like it when people do a new thread for their reveal and add all the kitchen materials used and lots of photo. Of course put the word “Reveal” in the title, but maybe add a little description of your kitchen too. Something like… White marble and light blue kitchen or Namibian Sky Marble kitchen, etc…. 😍

If you're keeping the floors and countertops, you'll want to make sure the backsplash you get coordinates with them. It seems a creamy beige color might work best. You might wait until all of the other things are done and then try getting some samples of backsplashes before committing to any backsplash.

Please change the bulbs in the awful ICE cold lighting? It looks like 5000 k . You're washing out any potential for color or warmth. Then......when counters are actually installed? Bring home samples from a dedicated tile store. You need more "finish" before proceeding
