Lost the shutters, they do not fit properly (2-wide windows do not get shutters) and no window boxes. The entrance looks like a cave, I would paint the door something other than dark brown. Not 100% sold on the pediment heads as they too me look like the fake pasted on that they are,

I would take off the shutters, and definitely not put up window boxes. LARGE pots full of trees, bushes, plants, and flowers would soften all of the hard surfaces. Can you landscape around the concrete by those stairs(?) - trees and shrubs would look great there. And I agree, paint the front door - probably would try the color of the siding.

The shutters don't belong on those wide windows. The garage lights look really tiny and delicate next to the garage doors. I would want larger house numbers as the small ones are hard to read from a distance. Window boxes are difficult to keep looking nice. It is hard to keep them watered. Some larger pots or planter boxes under the windows would be easier to care for as there isn't enough space in the ground for plants.

I dont see anything wrong with the shutters. They are decorative type, not functional type. However, I dont like them black, they would look nicer, if they were the color of your roof. I do not like the trim on top of the windows that you are calling crossheads. They take away from the lines of the house. The front door, definitely needs a lighter, brighter color, and your light fixtures need to be much larger. Some potted plants, and some color for personality and interest.

The shutters are much too small, they do not look decorative look slightly awkward. I also think because the drive is slopped and the house is level this angle is hard to assess What does it look like from the street? or is that the street view?

All of the windows on the front of the house are the same. They’re all 56” wide and they are sliders. I can’t imagine why someone thinks they’re 20” wide?

It looks like you photoshopped the shutters out but kept the window crossheads at the top. Are you saying the shutters should go and crossheads stay?

Under the porch is painted the same color as siding and front door I painted black. I don’t think painting the front door the same as the body would be good. But…I am colorblind. Truly. So I don’t know what color would be good

AH! So, the windows on your garage are not 4/4? They are just cut off by the retaining wall in your photo. Sorry. I thought they were different from the ones on the left. (I still stand by my suggestion to simplify the windows in your garage doors. And, no. The stone doesn’t require that you put any extra embellishments on your windows.

In this view…The soffits are too dominant in white…it you match soffits to the house color or the roof color..remove shutters…and add a low planter across the front to disguise the slanted driveway…your curb appeal will flow better..at this point you may want consider if the white garage doors would flow better if they match the house color …it is a little confusing from this picture …as we cannot see where the entry is…where cars will enter the garage…

In the case of sort of hidden entries…a brightly colored front door is always a good idea …once your build is complete a lot of curb appeal can be added with large dramatic pots with shrubs, flowers ,annuals ….since you have no landscaping

I think remove the shutters. I am also wondering if you are having landscape next to the stairwell down to the driveway? I would imagine so, so some of this view will be soften by that and hidden as well. A planter box might be a good idea on that window wall, though I would be concerned about drainage and staining the concrete.

I think even if you are color blind you can pick up that the door is kind of "in the shadows" so a color pop might also help draw the eye in.

And while colorblind, I do see the difference in shades that are light/Med/dark. Can’t tell ya what color they are, but I can tell lightness/darkness

Yes, I have plans for a planter box and actually have drain behind the concrete under the windows. So I think that will help too!

No. I didn’t pick the roof color. We added the garage and added that entry. I don’t like roof color (I think maybe it’s red?). But I didn’t want to reroof the entire roof because wayyy too much $
