Did anyone ever get an answer on a BM or SW paint for trim when you have polar cabinets? My builder was thinking a more stark white (pure white or extra white) to go with the window colors but I’m nervous of it making the cabinets looks yellowish.

Oh shoot - I am so sorry! We finally had some decent weather so I have been outside as much as possible and yesterday was so busy at work! Sometimes that's just what it takes - enough photos for your to confirm your heart and minds eye or give warning that maybe it's not what you want in the scheme of things after all. It is going to look sharp! We have similar schemes going on. ;) Our master is the maple sable with black glaze-you have selected a nice door choice it will pick up the glaze more. I nod to the polar white - yes I do. It looked so stark in the showroom that I didn't even bring it home (slap the forehead how dumb was that-I totally knew all about the lighting differences in spaces and how they change things, so dumb?)! Ha! It's all good, I don't dislike the soft cabinets really - just the trim. ;) I went with silas on the island because I didn't want to clash or matchy match the floor we had already selected (medium hickory) so in essence did the same as you but opposite. For posterity: Island - Hickory Silas stain with black glaze. See above comment - in the show room polar looked really white and I knew we'd likely have leathered black granite on top of them - I was worried it would look like a black/white 'period' kitchen although that's fine the house isn't period and it wasn't what I was going for. I've just finalized my kitchen design and I chose Polarstone Ibiza and I will also be doing white uppers and lowers with white gloss subway tile. My island will also be Ibiza with a waterfall on one side and my island is going to be in SW GaleForce (a dark navy/gray). I can't wait for it all to be finished. What paint color did you go with for your walls?

Have you narrowed down options on cabinets? I discovered my options were limited with quartz because anything too white was pulling yellow on the polar. Arctic white would have been too stark with all the natural light I have in my kitchen.
