Hood design dilemma - kitchen designers please help
Comments (13)Holly are you saying i have to replace all of the crown in the kitchen? I am not trying to save anything between the 2 windows where the range area is currently. I am ok with the expense and have already gotten the quotes from the cab company and for the modernaire hood insert. But for the cost I want to be sure want to be sure about not using the vv96 in that area and the staggered cabs. I know what I have is really nice, it is just not what I want....See MoreBathroom remodel design dilemma - PLEASE HELP!
Comments (5)We plan to keep the same layout and the bathroom is not adjoining to a bedroom. I refer to it as our ‘guest bathroom’ but it’s technically used for the 2 bedrooms we have upstairs that we use for guests. :)...See MoreMaster Bathroom design dilemma (Urgent Help Needed)
Comments (9)I'm sorry, but there are so many things wrong with this plan beyond the layout of the master bathroom. For example, the living room is virtually impossible to furnish due to the diagonal circulation path. Given the limited size of your bathroom, would you consider omitting the trendy free-standing tub and replacing it with a shower? And replacing the free-standing tub in the small second bathroom with a built-in tub/shower?...See MoreBathroom Design Dilemma
Comments (9)Ellen, I really appreciate the input! Good point about bumping into open shelves! Beth, thanks so much for these great pictures! I love the first nice pic you posted but imagine it might be hard to find a way to inset part of the vanity if it is only a 66-68 inch double vanity. I am trying to figure out what makes the photos without the shelves still look good in spite of the vanities obstructing the tubs. Any sense of the magic formula? :) I like your idea of flipping the shower and tub, but we can't do that due to plumbing issues on the exterior wall; we would lose 4 inches in the shower by padding for shower heads. It's too bad as that would be a much nicer-looking set-up. Thanks again for the great ideas!...See MoreHU-159553659
