anyone tried an ant bait with yeast?

I recently found an ant bait to use for garden control which is a mix yeast molasses and sugar. I'm wondering if anyone has used this before and had success?

I've only had it out for a few days now, but it doesn't seem to be making a difference. Some ants are definitely attracted to it, but they just seem to be nibbling at the molasses and ignoring the yeast particles mixed in with it.

would love to get some feedback from anyone who has tried this. I previously tried baits using borax and sugar, but they seemed to have no effect on the ant population here. They ate it like candy and went on about their business! None of the other organic ant control ideas I've read about have worked either. They have completely infested my garden - every plot, every container. They are farming aphids on all of my plants by the thousands, and all of them eventually shrive up and die from the stress of the invasion.
