Could you not achieve more pressure by adjusting your pressure switch or installing a different one?

You are conflating a lot of things:

1. Pressure - Measured in Pounds per Square Inch

2. Volume - Measured in Gallons per Minute

3. How storage works

When you get close to the volume capacity of an entire system, or any part of that system, you will see the pressure drop.

So, in general, you can't have a load that is near the ability of the pump to supply it - or any section of pipes that supply the load.

You need to put actual numbers on all of this. Not guess.

You need to test the output of your well - at the well - to determine if it's really 15 gpm.

You need to have a pressure guage at the well to know what your static pressure is - again not guessing. A typical well system will come on at 40 or 50 psi and off at 60 or 70 psi.

You need to know the size of the supply line from the well to the point of use.

You need to know how much water you are using - you can add up the uses based on typical gpm for a given fixture. You do also have to guestimate how many of those are used at the same time.

You can have a storage system if you need it for fire protection, or if you have a low producing well. But that requires two pumps: One for the well to fill the storage tank and one to supply the water to the house. Those two would work independently.

Fifteen gpm is a good output for most residential situations. My guess is that something isn't right, either your well isn't putting out 15 gpm, you have a restriction someplace, or something. Either that, or you have irrigation or similar uses that create excessive demand.

Do the math first and test your assumptions before you do anything else.
