bathroom help for our upstairs bathroom!
Comments (1)I had a door something like that in a bathroom once...they can be an eyesore, frankly. In your situation, I wonder if you could extend the small white cabinet upwards somehow to cover the door? Maybe add a shelf unit on top of it? That would make the room look more finished. Then you could add white accessories in different textures -- thick, fluffy white towels with some kind of white rug, maybe a white wicker waste bin or white mother-of-pearl accessories, etc. You have a good start with some of the items on top of the cabinet....See Morehelp updating a bathroom with old blue tile
Comments (7)Your tiles are in great shape and should be easy to work with. I would embrace the period and have fun with it. I'd look for a pretty shower curtain that incorporates the blue and stick with a white close to the color in the floor tiles. I would keep fixtures in chrome, which are period appropriate for your bathroom. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Home-Decorators-Collection-22-in-W-x-28-in-L-Framed-Fog-Free-Wall-Mirror-in-Silver-81168/205577496 Embrace the time period in the bathroom with a light style that is from the same period. https://www.amazon.com/Nuvo-76-277-Diamond-Channel/dp/B002OMJBNO This shower curtain would be great in your mid century style bathroom. https://www.opensky.com/avlolo/product/mid-century-modern-retro-drop-shapes-in-shower-curtain-60x72-inches? Since you don't have a lot of room to hang towels, I would add over the door towel hooks and something like this over the toilet to store towels. https://www.wayfair.com/home-improvement/pdp/dotted-line-demi-wall-mounted-towel-rack-w001991980.html?piid=...See MoreBathroom decor help
Comments (1)I recently purchased a home and am working to update and decorate. The master bathroom toilet sits along the back wall...but it isn’t centered on that space and then there is an angle wall beside. How can I decorate the space above the commode so that it doesn’t feel off balance? As you look at the photos to the right is the angle wall, to the left is the shower wall. Thank you for your thoughts!...See MoreHelp with outdated bathroom!!!! Paint & decor suggestions
Comments (2)Thank you - I appreciate the suggestion. None of the greys I sampled worked so far but it’s possible I had the wrong shade- I will pick up a color chip of the grey you suggested. I realize my counters and tile clash - unfortunately I didn’t notice that when I had a small sample. I knew it wasn’t perfect but I was wanting to stay away from the pinkish beige and the taupe seemed to coordinate better than the grey. I should have gone simpler, with a shade of white instead of the taupe but hindsight is 20/20. Now I am trying to tie it all together somehow. Thanks again. Do you have any suggestions for towel/accessory colors??...See Moreeverdebz
