Comments (4)Cute home and beautiful wall color! I would use woven or linen roman shades for the windows. In the entry, put your upholstered bench under the window and look for a small table. Use your larger entry rug next to the door and remove the smaller one. In the living area, I would use a glass coffee table, or wood if you like to put your feet up. I would look for light grey or cream colored upholstery for the sofa and chair. Your dining room rug is too small for your table, but you might be able to use it in the living area in front of the sofa and chair....See Morefoyer design Colonial
Comments (2)You really don’t have room for anything so I would really play up yours stair. Paint the drywall the same color brown as the stairs. Add molding (stained like the steps) to the side. Add decorative stair brackets again stained like the steps. Then add a carpet runner and brass or silver carpet rods....See Morefoyer design ideas - modern farmhouse
Comments (10)Before painting, sheetrock over niche. It is dated and not functional. Then paint. Remove carpet from stairs and paint black and white and do an interesting carpet runner. Stairs without carpet are noisy and slip probe. Your new flooring will be fabulous! I would select large black and gold piece for entry. I would paint and not do any wood elements on walls. Concentrate on stairs, carpeting for stairs, entry fixture. Be careful about adding more wood elements....See MoreMoore4
