How to scribe & cut cabinet toe kick to fit undulations in wood floor?

How to scribe bottom of kitchen cabinet toe kick so that it sits flat on a slightly wavy wood floor.

Found info on the web on scribing, so we see how to draw the pencil line in the correct place.

But can't find info or videos about HOW to actually cut along the pencil line. What kind of saw? We assume a jigsaw??? Or do the pros use another type of saw? Is it realistic to assume that somewhat handy homeowners can actually cut the line accurately?

During kitchen remodel, we removed the tile floor and replaced with wood floor. Cabinets were originally set on concrete slab, so the wood floor butts up to cabinet bottoms. We had removed the toe kick and want to reinstall it over the wood floor, but there are gaps up to 3/16". Some boards have several gaps. Cabinets will now be bright white against medium oak floor, so any gaps will be noticeable. We're trying to avoid using shoe molding.
