Comments (5)Every time I read or post a can you name this plant question, I think of my brother's snakes. He raises Ball pythons and has quite a few. When asked if he had named any of them, he said "No, they don't come when I call them anyway". And seeing that this is dog fennel, it makes that thought even more amusing. Your water company will also advise on rain barrels - our local company sells wonderful rain barrels at a very low price. About pavers - the term to use is "permeable surface". Your building department can give you ideas on what materials qualify, and how to calculate your "square foot" needs. Then price your choice of materials, plus installation. Most of the Umbellifers don't have bur-like seeds. (First one I have heard of.) Don't know what the odds are re the posts here, but you might want to investigate this plant. May be it....See Moredene
