Even though this is an old thread, I’m going to add :) Cinderella tubs were developed to appeal to people with a smaller bathroom footprint, so they could still have a tub, without the real estate. They also made it out to be more fashionable to separate the shower from the bathtub. It takes much less water to fill it, than the larger conventional bathtubs. Second point - General Construction contractors work on the basis of bids, not time and materials. That’s why it’s not worth it for a GC - they’re paid on their bid, and they bid the cost of the materials plus their mark-up plus installation cost. So you’d want to off to pay by the hour and expect a premium hourly charge since they don’t get the mark up on the materials

I have 2 windows (with faux wood blinds covering them thank you) at right angles above the tub in the master bath, so no wall art there. However, I do have a prominent piece of wall separating 2 mirrors over our vanities.........This wall is crying for something but I haven't found it. The other day, I saw some really pretty decorative wall clocks and have been thinking about that. For some reason I wasn't sure if it would be odd to have a pretty wall clock hanging there, although honestly it kind of makes sense. What do you think? The ones I saw (at Ross or TJMaxx) were round and had nice detailed frames. I am linking a nice substantial one I just saw on the o site, just wondering what the decorating experts here think of a decorative clock as a piece of décor in a bathroom.square not round but a pretty clock

We ordered a clawfoot tub from them and were very satisfied with both the product and the service. We have loved having a cast iron tub for the first time. Woudl definitely order from them again if I was doimg a vintage farmhouse sort of look. My next build is a tad more modern spo going a different direction this time but if a tiub they have fits your style, go for it without reservations.

Hello everyone. It has been 3 months since I last provided an update because I had to stop everything to care for my father who passed away about 6 weeks ago. I am back on track and the update is as follows. I learned that the color of the tub is actually Persian Brown like Stephanie has and I was only going in circles trying to figure that out because the Porc-a-fix people had the wrong color in their bottles of touch up paint that I had purchased to fix some damage. I took the advice of someone on another thread to go with black and white and here is where I am so far. After it is all tiled and the cabinet goes in, my next advice question will be what color to paint (or a wallpaper that won't fight with the greek key accent tile?) the walls above the wainscotting. I painted my vanity black and will get a quartz countertop that looks like black marble and the fixtures will be polished gold with black handles. below is across from the tub what will be closest with mirrored bypass doors and a floating dressing table
