August sown ballon flowers overwintering

I have tried to collect ballon flower (platycodon) seeds for a couple years but birds always got them before me. This year I managed to rescue 2 seed pods, but they hadn’t fully ripened. So I sowed some seeds mid August just in case. A few seedlings have grown fine.

This is september 15th. I don’t know whether there will be enough time for them to mature before winter. What is the best option to overwinter them? Plant them in the ground, leave in pot outside, or bring them indoor?

Thanks and happy gardening!
