I was the OP on the thread referenced above by writersblock, which was specifically about the Ticor SS6508 (I think) zero radius single-bowl sink that has a beveled edge at the top, allowing use of included cutting board and wire basket. I believe that top edge is different that the sink you have, which has the more usual flat top flange. In the end, we returned the SS6508 and got the S112, which has the same kind of edge as the sink you have, I think. I wanted a neutral or very slightly positive reveal and got a lot of pushback from the fabricator, who said, oh no everybody gets a negative reveal and if it's positive you'll see the caulk and then you'll be back complaining. I stuck to my guns and the sink was installed last week (I've posted the picture in several threads recently so I won't put it in here). The reveal is very slightly positive, 1/16 to 1/8" of sink edge showing and I like the way it looks. We can see the caulk but it doesn't look bad and, as someone pointed out when I was worrying about that, the caulk can be removed and reapplied with no ill effect. We've only been using the sink for a few days so I can't say what the longterm result will be but so far so good. I hope that helps. If I could have built the pool in our backyard, I would have done a perfect rectangle with 90° corners because my understanding is that electronic covers will not work on irregularly shaped pools and I have exhausted myself trying to find a solution that serves both goals which are (1) safety and (2) keeping debris out of the pool especially during the fall and winter months. We live in the Midwest where even a heated pool will not work during the winter months, but I have heard the debris is a problem even in the Southern states. So if you have the good fortune of being able to design your own pool with these goals in mind (assuming that you have the same goals and I think most people do), I urge you to select a shape that works with an electronic pool cover and also talk to your contractor about building a cover into the design.

Julien is 16 gauge and you can pick the location of the drain. Also, comes in a ton of sizes. I don't have experience w/them, but apparently they are well liked on this board and do custom sinks

I don't know if you are still working on this, but in rare cases people sometimes choose to use glass tile for the entire pool. It might be cost-prohibitive to your project, but properly installed glass tile can last a generation or more, whereas plaster and pebble finishes will need ongoing maintenance.
