Here's the first floor drawing with each room written on. The window in the kitchen is flexible. I am willing to change anything! Well, within reason. We are not living in the house while it is being renovated and we are redoing all plumbing/electrical. We are open to moving the rooms too. We do like the placement of the casual living room off of the screened in patio area so that they can open up to each other, especially when we entertain. As I try to lay out appliances/cabinets it just seems I am missing some needed space along the 11'7" wall. There is currently the former exterior wall that's about 1 foot in width. The drawing below shows us building that out to create the pantry area. I'm also not 100% on having a separate formal dining room. We entertain a lot, but it's always very casual.

Even if you have Selene rate Sections? I have a wide space so was going to separate it into this area w sectional and trying to find something to put in place Of brown couch and then in the other half Of the rooom I wanted To have like a little seating area or bench with a chair I’m not aure

I don't mean to be unkind, but if your room is normally this cluttered I don't see how it can possibly be a dream room. All the bits and pieces of rugs and whatever of varying sizes on the floor are unsightly. If you could paint the shoe cabinet white it would look much better. Do you not have a large enough closet in this room? The white and purple chest of drawers thing does not work well with everything else. I'm afraid having all the furniture in one style also does not do this room any favors. I would google traditional bedrooms and try to get some ideas about how one should look, but right now there is so much going on here, including the two curtains, that make that whole area very confusing.

Some area rugs come in an 8' X 8' size. Also, go to any carpet store and they will have remnants for sale that can be cut and bound to any size you want. Usually the remnants are in popular colors so it's not too hard to find one you like. Sometimes this also means you can get something higher quality at a better price.
