Comments (9)That is odd the screw on shades are coming back when you can not buy the new replacement sockets. The old floor lamps usually had those uno fitter shades.It is good to know new ones are available as mine are really pretty raggity. I hope if you find them you will share the source. Black and white check sounds great. Would be very hard to paint. I could do it in glass easier then painting it. Abby is pretty but she is crazy as can be. We had her spayed in March and I think menopause is hitting her really hard. She is not very nice to be around lately. LOL At least she is acting how I felt when I was doing the menopause thing. Comments (0)Hey there all, does anyone know where I can find a replacement shade for Target’s Threshold Downbridge floor lamp? The shade is beige and I’d like white, but they don’t make a white “mix and match” shade like the others. The threading on any potential replacements at Target are all too small. The Downbridge threading looks to be about 2” in diameter, with the inner “hole” for the light bulb base around 1.75”. The shade fits up into the base and secured with a cap (kind of like a nut on a screw), it doesn’t fit down and secured by the light bulb like in most lamps. Any suggestions? Comments (0)I’ve broken the matching glass shade of the lamp pictured below. I purchased the lamps in Portland Oregon about 20 years ago. I’ve purchased replacement shades from Porteco lighting in Portland, but I can’t get a response from them. I think the manufacturer of the lamps are either in Everett or Seattle.
