Since there is no right or wrong answer for hardware placement, you can't be wrong. You will be able to open and close your doors and drawers no matter where you place the pulls. Your gorgeous cabinets and countertops wil be the star players in the kitchen. The pulls just have a supporting role. The BB pulls are very nice and will look nice in your kitchen. I don't think anyone will walk into your kitchen and say, "those pulls should have been longer". While GW is very helpful, I think it sometimes cause us to fret about our choices too much. Hopefully by the time you read this you will have decided what you are going to do about your pulls and you are can relax a little. When things don't go the way I planned or something bad happens, I always try to take time out and make a list of things I am grateful for. It helps me keep things in perspective. I hope the last pieces of your remodel fall into place without further issues.

Is there a general rule / guideline on the placement of cabinet hardware? How do you handle different size cabinets? My cabinet drawers range in width from 23 1/2 to 28 1/2. They have an inset which is where the handle pulls will be placed. I've included a couple of photos.

Hi. I think at the knob/ pulls phase… I had lost my mind. I had a hard time deciding. Hang in there. I’m sure a pro can help rather easily. I bought a bunch of different ones and held them up taking pictures of each. Pictures help you stand back a little and evaluate. I also looked at tons of kitchens online to see what others had done with similar configurations. My biggest goal was to make sure there was enough room between the knob/ handle and cabinet so I wouldn’t scratch the paint off. So far it worked on all areas but the trash cabinet. Good luck!

@Beth Yes, they have it placed at 3” and I was suggesting in my OP to bring it down to 2” - however, based on what you posted it sounds like we could take it even lower/closer to the corner at 1-1/4” up/in, which may be more in line with what we want… clean lines, not making the hardware stand out (except for the pantry, we just like the forged/textured look of that hardware, but that’s an exception)… What do you think of my other suggested changes, per the OP (see below)? - Knobs on upper should be 2” from corner (currently 3”) - Drawer pulls should all be placed towards the top of the drawer, not middle - Lower cabinets should have the pulls placed horrizontal instead of vertical
