Another vote in favor of sticking with quartz. We are in love with our new Zodiaq "Nutmeg" color (which is NOT light, although it is cool, has sparkle, and adds a nice "pop" while remaining "calming".) I love not having to worry about the surface, and as many pretty granites as I saw in many granite yards, I just wasm't sure I wanted to come downstairs every morning to a busy surface. I couldn't be happier with our choice, and highly recommend taking a serious look at quartz. If our project was still in the planning stage, I would be looking seriously at the Cambria "Torquay" -- it was JUST released (via pictures online, not yet available) when we were picking our counters. It looks absolutely gorgeous, though -- and thanks to deeageaux for sharing that drool-worthy picture!! It sounds like it would be a perfect choice with your other selections. Good luck!!

I just spent almost $8,000 on 2 Bedrosians Magnifica Calacatta Oro counters for my master bath and so far- nightmare!!! The slab is supposed to have a soft white background with gold (Oro) veining. What showed up was blue grey color that’s not even close to the soft white of the sample of the slab they showed me in the warehouse. It’s a completely different color- not even close to the same color family ( blue-grey vs. cream!). Of course we didn’t know it was wrong until fabricated and installed. Waiting to hear back from Bedrosians if they’ll take responsibility and fix. I’ll keep you updated but BEWARE... I picked expensive porcelain because it’s supposed to be very consistent in color and no surprises. Now my beautiful beige/ cream master bath has an ugly ( expensive) grey countertop in the middle of it 😭

@jill lopez - we loved the white lux, but it was our installers that didnt know how to install. We had a very complicated design where the main island connected with the top island and sides seemlessly to look as if was all one piece (no overhangs) picure attached with our new montblanc counter tops using our new amazing installer.

Oh wow, we had your exact sink until 8 months ago! Isn't that middle basin the most useless thing ever?! However, it did convince me that cast iron is the way to go; nearly 40 years old and still cleaned up really well! Here is our new Kohler cast iron low divide sink with our new honed Taj Mahal quartzite. We're still under construction but I was very excited about our new stuff. :) I researched Blanco and Elkay sinks but the reviews about staining on light colors scared me off. I grew up in a 1920s farmhouse that had the original cast iron sinks that still looked good, so that combined with my 1980s cast iron pushed me that direction.
