Taking a pic in better light would help. I think painting brick is the fasteset way to devalue your house and not to mention adding to the upkeep after you apint a material that really requires no up keep. I also would like a close up of the brick , the entry and the windows you are getting.

I don't like painting brick and I'm fully aware of its effect, but unfortunately due to condition and construction, it will be getting done on this project. Can't get more pics, I'm 12 hours away from the site. I just need some thoughts on colors.

beachy is blue and greens. They go well with white windows.

I know people paint brick to hide brick problems but you could get it power washed and the mortar repointed to keep the natural feel of the brick. Color match the brick if you want a unified neutral look. For high contrast with white windows and trim, pick a deeper hue of blue or green. A soft sage green would look good for subtle contrast. You really need large paint sample to see in the natural light to decide.

With white trim I would spray the iron railing and posts white to match or replace ( or reface) with stained cedar which is pricy but gives that lake cabin look.

What are you doing with those diamonds around the window? If I couldn't replace them, I would at least paint them to match the rest of the walls.

remove the scroll posts and do a natural cedar. (or wrap them w/vinyl posts. c below)

are you redoing the metal 1950's supports on the porch too? hopefully yes.

What is the weather like in the winter?…will you use the house year round?…how close is the lake?…is this lake in the mountains?…i agree the brick should flow with the rest of the house color wise…but the actual setting should factor in to color choices…if their is a big beach ..for instance..as opposed to grass and greenery right down to the water…
