drawers under (Wolf) gas cooktop

Has anyone had issues with the flame extinguishing when a drawer below the

cooktop is opened? I have a new kitchen with a 36" professional gas cooktop (Wolf) and 2 large pot drawers below. When cooking, if I open either of the drawers the flame goes out!

Wolf's response so far has been that with a high seal, high quality cabinet this can happen and it's "not a safety or performance concern" so there's nothing to be done. I was also asked "Do you really have to open your drawers when cooking?"

Seems crazy to me....a high end cooktop with a high quality cabinet should result in full compatibility, no? The installation/cut out specs were followed correctly (confirmed by Wolf service).
