Same tile different patterns in bathroom (wet vs dry area)

Hello,

I'm about to build an extra bathroom, it's in small rectangular shape. I'm thinking of using pink subway tiles throughout the walls. To shake things up a bit and to define the wet area, I'm considering using a different tile pattern for the shower area (that means 3 sides of wall), e.g. vertical vs horizontal. Do you think it's a good idea?

Please note that the shower is probably going to be separated by glass (I still have to decide whether to use a door or just walk-in). And the floor tiles for the dry area and shower area are different than the walls (b&w square patterned for the dry area and green mosaic for the shower, so 3 different tiles in total). Thanks!
