Are you going to be replacing your complex neutral sofa? Or your dining room chairs? If not, THAT is the complex neutral you need to be worrying about re: your wall colour if you want everything to hang together, Your flooring (which I would also categorize as red-toned like Brazilian Cherry) is bossy, but not the colour to be trying to coordinate with. It appears to me that your wall colour now is yellow-based and your upholstery more natural linen coloured, which is usually pink-based. I agree with everyone who has suggested painting first before spending money on painting cabinetry. Done well, this costs approximately 1/2 the price of new cabinets and may not fix what's bugging you. Done poorly, it is a terrible investment. Another pro tip now that you have already been warned off painting swatches right on your walls; before you just paint over those swatches, make sure you sand the edges and brush strokes so you don't end up seeing the texture of those swatches forever.

@Dawne, you don't bother me. Ask as many questions as You need. Most are 6" ( upper cabinets and some smaller drawers ) and 8" on longer drawers.

Kitchen floor and living room, dining, entry, halls: Karastan Belleluxe engineered hardwood: Pashima finish. There is a beautiful gray in this wood that might not be visible in these pictures. I'm obsessed with this floor. Specs: 3/4" oak, seven inch planks (maybe 7-1/2"). Fake slate porcelain tile by Daltile in black for the adjacent family room where the dogs live, and laundry room, wet bar area. Our number one choice for quartz: Arizon Tile Silver Stallion Our current top choice for backsplash tile: 2-1/2 by 9-3/4 Arizona Tile in Pearl (very pale gray). Floor, Pearl Concerto Tile at the top, Silver Stallion quartz sample, Concerto tile in White. Flooring is locked and loaded, delivery is the end of this week or early next week. Cabinets arrive next Monday. I hope our selections work well together. What do you think, @Diana Bier ?

@kandrewspa here are my cabinets. This color is called “Dove,” which is an off white (but reads white), but brighter white cabinets are also a possibility. It’s between those two tones. I welcome any suggestions for flooring color etc. My contractor will be installing the floors first, so that why I’m scrambling to select floors now. Regardless of what countertop I end up with, I feel like I’m limited (for the reasons discussed above) to a neutral tone anyway. I’ll post pics of the countertops I’m considering.
