So I just called Corian and spoke with customer service. They said that everything as far as tone of background and colors of veining have remained the same. The veining was a more directional pattern for awhile but any slab that is made after 2019 will have more of the random veining in it. He said “ the veining issue was corrected”. Not sure if people were calling in and complaining, wanting old, random veining pattern back. Whatever the reason, the more random pattern will be in slabs made after the year 2019!! YAY!!

I plan to use Forte in my kitchen with my existing maple cabinets. Has anyone use Forte with maple? i am hoping the gray and gold in forte will come out. Any suggestion/ opinion?

Hi there! I do indeed have updated photos. We ended up choosing Pental Quartz’s Carrara (a quartz imitation of Carrara marble). When I saw larger images of Venatino, it looked rather like someone had splatted a bunch of black threads on a white countertop—not quite what I was going for! If you google for images, you may see more examples. - Countertop: Pental Quartz’s Carrara - Tile: Riad Tile’s 2x6 Zellige in Snow - Cabinets: SW Pure White - Walls: SW Zurich White - Butcherblock and Shelving: some combo of Mahogany stain with a darkening (mildly graying) water-based stain, with Rubio’s 2C Pure. There also might have been some Provence stain? Not totally sure. The shelving and beam had a higher proportion of the water-based stain to maje them darker. Any relevant details I am missing?

acm - they added these colors last February, so new'ish. I do believe they are the same. I think that Pental, Vicostone, and Metroquartz are all the same with different names. I saw a thread a few months back about the Volakano which came out at the same time. Super helpful!! I was hoping someone on here had used Amarcord as well.
