Great Expectations - see you again in 2015...I hope.
Comments (5)Yep, wish me luck too. I bought one at the end of this season, my first attempt at a GE. I ripped out a bunch of ivy, built up a little corner with bricks on hand, and filled it with native soil I had on hand plus a bag of whatever I had in the garden shed. Might have been compost, I don't recall. Gets morning sun in this location. Anyway, sink or swim little GE. Hope to see you in 2015. Good luck to yours TandM....See MoreDesparately need an excellent grout sealer XP from Baths

Comments (7)Of course, needing the minor elements isn't something unique to avocados, all plants need a full compliment of the essential elements, preferably in a favorable ratio, to grow normally. I think the following objective outline of what a supplementation program for containerized plants should include is worth considering as a framework for fertilizing containerized plants, and it's very easy to implement. The goal for fertilizing containerized plants can easily be described. Ideally, we would work toward ensuring that all the nutrients plants normally secure from the soil are in the soil solution at all times, in the ratio at which the plant actually uses the nutrients, and at a concentration high enough to ensure no deficiencies yet low enough to ensure the plant isn't impeded in its ability to take up water and the nutrients dissolved in water. This goal is easily achievable using one water soluble synthetic fertilizer. You CAN use organic forms of nutrition, like fish/seaweed emulsions or various types of meal, but that makes it much more difficult to achieve the goal. Comments (10)Plllog, I had that very notion going on Kitchens lol! Divotdiva, that's a big reason I'm getting the Bosch. I was at my SIL's and said something about running the DW, and she said "it's running now." I was standing right in the kitchen and couldn't hear it. g5spark, that's a good question. The place I'm getting it from is a huge appliance dealer so hopefully they are prepared for common modifications. I just looked and I think it just be hard-wired. Nothing is plugged in to the outlet under the sink, the disposal is hard-wired, and I can't see the DW wiring, must be under or behind....See Morenicole___
