What is your style/style of your furnishings? Is the staircase fixture the same as the entry fixture? If it is, and you like that finish/style, a quick fix would be to get rid of the boob light in the hallway and move the staircase fixture to the hallway. If you want different fixtures altogether, choose a semi-flush mount fixture for the entry and the flush mount version of the same fixture for the hallway. Then pick out a larger complimentary pendant or chandelier for the staircase.

The only chair that has the same finish as the table is the one with the upholstered back which I did not really care for. I like the white chair better than the blue one that is in their collection but I suppose since the finish is not the same as the table then the blue would look better. Bummer as I really thought my chairs were fine. I should have hired a designer. .

White! The close up view makes it a toss up but the long view makes the white globe a slam dunk for me! The white color is perfect with white pot & white light on column. Your post provides the perfect amount of detail to make a decision based on looking at pictures! Great job!

Pay attention to where the wiring from the house and where the fixture backplates are located. For example, your current fixtures look like the main part of the light hangs down from the backplate, whereas the cylindrical fixture you show is more centered vertically over the backplate. That means that the fixture would sit higher on the wall, unless you change the wiring coming out of the house. Make sense? (I'm not a pro, but I think this is correct because I just went through this at my house to make sure lights would sit where I want them to.) If you're changing the wiring location, you can ignore this. But for any fixtures you consider, do a mockup first to see if you like the sizing and placement.
