Can I mix beachy decor w/ traditional?
Comments (12)kiko-love the first picture you posted. thx so much. not sure that is what I am going for or not. Maybe more white and we already have few light blue rooms. I thought they might be easy to redo with some beachy decor in them. The blue rooms are upstairs. I was thinking of re-doing the powder room downstairs some shade of light blue as well, you know, like Palladium blue or something similar. I probably am not doing a great job with my descriptions, sorry. Not a great writer, Ha Ha, could never do a blog....See MoreTraditional Table - Contemporary Chairs? Do these work?

And now it's in my home!...See MoreAdding contemporary elements to traditional

Regarding curtains, I'm a nekkid window lover, so I rarely have opinions on window treatments, but if you get the cowhide chairs, some patterned curtains with blue, brown and cream might work, something striped, ikat or other modernish pattern....See MoreHelp decorating a traditional looking mantel
Comments (6)I love your rug and chair!! Are you using overhead lighting? The room seems to have that harsh look. If so, turn that light off and use lamps only. As was mentioned the frame could be very important when choosing your art. Your rug looks traditional....See MoreRelated Professionals
