Shades of white ?

Hello! We just moved into a beautiful south Florida home covered in Saltillo tile. We love the look of white walls contrasting with the Saltillo tile, but not sure which shades to choose. Going to try some samples but not sure where to begin, are we thinking warm whites will complement the tile? Cool white would balance? Shown is our family room which we are knocking down extra walls and redoing the kitchen with light sage bottom cabinets, white overhead cabinets, and butcher block counters. Also planning on putting up some wood beams on the ceiling. Receives moderate amounts of sunlight, hoping knocking down extra walls will increase. Also shown is the master, which receives ample sunlight throughout the day. Thank you!

No - cool white will not balance. You need a warm white here. I highly recommend Nick Lewis on youtube for advice on this matter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KDnuPfuro0&t=54s

Suggest you do a sage green on the walls, and a darker blue on the lower cabinets. Move away from the tones of the tile to colors that work with it, but not match it.

Junk imports are 5 minute cabinets of all shades and colors batches. Move up in quality to semi custom and you get products that are factory finished all at the same time, with the same batch. Nothing sitting on the shelf aging out and changing colors. Or taking a boat ride from Vietnam and swelling up and flaking from the salt air.

Hello, would really appreciate some advice/opinions. I've grown tired of my colored walls throughout the house, I have repainted my walls a few times, BM Shaker Beige for the past 20 years. I now want to just paint it all white, my kitchen cabinets along with my fireplace surround in my tiny family room are painted BM Simply White. Should I stick with the Simply White for all the walls or find a nice shade that will compliment the Simply White cabinets?

I have a similar floor, although mine is I guess faux-Saltillo, a pinkish-orangish ceramic tile. I’m not sure I’m qualified to give advice per se, but I wanted to let you know that I have been saving every Saltillo-like floor photo and article that I could find just for my own reference. They’re all saved in my Kitchen ideabook here. I’ll go check and make sure it’s public. Good luck! Soon I’ll have kitchen photos to share, but we’re not done yet :)
