Comments (152)Hi Maggy . I can smell those cookies from here yummy . How are you feeling now , sounds like you put in a real rough weekend so sorry to here that . This bug is relentless I still get small bouts of it but not as severe as a few weeks ago . So tired this week probably from all the drama on the weekend . Maggy so jealous that you finished your Christmas shopping and you did most of it while you were sick , I have not even started :-( . Maggy it's a blizzard outside everything is white again and it is cold windchill of minus 5 but alot milder tomorrow . Are your pup's taking good care of you ? I bet your pup's and your husband don't leave your side while your baking your cookies . Do you use Vicks I Love that stuff when I am sick . One good thing Maggy you should be feeling much better for Christmas I would rather have a cold now than at Christmas . Maggy I was in the GH on the weekend and the lemons and limes will be ready the next time I have to water . The lemons are a beautiful yellow and the limes are starting to turn a little yellow . My Murcott mandarin's are now ripe had a couple on Sunday and they were out of this world like pure candy and so juicy and the seeds were so tiny that you wouldn't have known that you ate one . Here is a pick of one of the mandarins I ate . Maggy hoping your OK and have a terrific night my friend . Brian...See MoreOn my way home today...
Comments (4)Good point Pam. Nothing wrong with undulata! It was just that I had this whole fantasy going in my head that there were going to be some really interesting cultivars. Big huge divisions, lol....See MoreAn Old Friend Gave me a Good Laugh
Comments (8)They call for old uncle a lot - I've kept the phone number - and when I tell them that he's not available, can I, his nephew, help them, they tend to get a bit skittish. Will call later, etc. Usually eventually I tell them that he inhabits a box underground, didn't leave forwarding address/phone No. ... and I don't think that he's much interested in credit card, avoiding bankruptcy, participating in a survey, subscribe to a magazine, getting super-duper long distance service, etc. ... ... telephones can do some wonderful things, these days, but I haven't heard of them being able to get through to uncle ... or my Mom, Dad, brother, etc. ... ... well, not up till now, at least ... ... but who knows what they may be able to arrange in future (or claim that they have). By the way ... didn't some of those TV evangelists give us the impression (if not almost the assurance) that they had a direct line to heaven?? Oh? ... They still do? Well, fancy that!! And some of the politicians tend to agree with them? Well, fancy that!! Enjoy what's left of your weekend, everyone. ole joyful...See MoreFun Stools for the bar pics
