Odd view of garden!
DH took this view of the front garden this evening. It has been a hot, humid day but we got a brief T-storm after supper and a short while afterwards very odd light conditions, which prompted him to take this interesting shot! Did anybody else get this odd light tonight?

Comments (31)LOL Dax. A friend got it for me from Fishermen's Terminal in Seattle. It used to be out on a dock. They name the docks there. It came from the dock called Holiday. Comments (13)Bostedo, the pink flowered vine is Coral Vine, or what my grandmother used to call "Queen's Crown". Some people still call it that. It's from Mexico and is my very favorite vine. It seems to have everything going for it if you live in a warm climate. Also comes in white, which is hard to find, but I used to have one, and what they call 'red' which is really a much darker pink, I have it. It dies to the ground with the first freeze, but is brittle after it dies and is easy to pull down, and comes back early the next year. It has a huge root which is probably what makes it drought tolerant....See More
