Facial Hair from upper lip
Comments (22)I had 4 laser applications, the last one about 5 weeks ago. My bikini line is completely done. Haven't seen anything at all. I could probably use 1 more treatment on my chin and neck, but my lip was done after 2. I was warned that I may need to go back once a year for any new growth, but otherwise I've been very pleased with the results. My bikini line was particularly heavy and waxing and shaving were a nightmare of ingrown hairs. There are MANY kinds of lasers and some work better than others. I just spent some time looking for the brochure that listed the type of laser, but I haven't been able to find it. I'll look again later and see if I can find it and post it for you. Before I went I asked for referrals from former patients. It's done at my OB/GYN's office by the Physicians Assistant, so I was fairly confident it would be a success. Comments (16)That's the other thing ...how did this woman obtain the botox if it's illegal for anyone but a medical professional to possess it? Or maybe it's not illegal to possess it, just illegal to administer it without a license. Does anyone know what she does for a living? Is she licensed in her profession? As with any illegal substance will they try to go after the person who provided her with the botox? I don't agree that pageants should be abolished. There are different types of pageants from what I've learned watching the show...natural and glitz. It's the glitz pageants where you see these extreme measures. Pageants are held across the states, you'd have to pass laws in every state if you're going to be sucessful in stopping these actions. Parents would simply cross state lines. Do you think Congress is going to pass laws prohibiting a parent from spray tanning their child, gluing on nail tips, applying false eye lashes and hair spray? I doubt it. You'd first have to prove they cause harm before successfully passing laws making pageants illegal. IMO the root of the problem stems from the judges. Alter their way of thinking and you'll see a lot of this nonsense stop. Judges are to blame because they're the ones giving higher scores to the children with the spray tans, false eye lashes, and cupcake dresses that put the parents into the poor house. Convince the judges to change their way of thinking and parents will happily follow suit....See Moreupdate on my window treatments
Comments (24)Jan in Wisconsin, thank you for your nice comments and advice...I have always admired your beautiful home, love that bench and those wonderful pillows. busybee3, thanks for your support for a coordinating fabric also..I know it will be difficult, but I think I would really like a coordinating fabric more than the same fabric as the living room.. I think I am leaning toward some sort of nice valances hung on finials... Would you believe that I have already changed out the solid burgundy pillows for the peacock ones? I am pleased that I am getting good feedback on those pillows anyway, as I wasn't sure how they worked with my room. Out the door to look for fabric. Thanks....See MoreInteresting covid (treatment) update here in my area . . .
Comments (20)It's true, early treatment is key. It is said that the antibody treatment should be administered within 10 days of onstart of symptoms. Just talked to another of the lunch bunch ladies. Our friend has turned the corner! She received the antibody treatment on day 8 and today is day 11. As of yesterday they were still feeling absolutely awful (think very bad case of flu), weak, not eating, etc. but little to no respiratory symptoms - thank goodness. This morning they woke up and she was hungry. She asked her husband if he was hungry and he wanted waffles! Thank goodness!! Both of them received the vaccine earlier. My friend of a friend was released from the hospital first of the week. She spent almost two weeks in the hospital - most of that time in ICU. She was not vaccinated. She had the antibody treatment before she was hospitalized. She is better but sleeping a good part of the day. Thankful to be home - and alive! She is about 20 years younger than my lunch bunch lady and her husband, yet she was the one seriously ill. It makes you think about the pros of the vaccine!...See Moreamykath
