But when I ordered one from Hirt's, I received a sansevieria laurentii instead. Hirt did refund me for the wrong plant. I am still looking for Sansevieria Black Gold Extreme. Comments (14)Black Gold is the proper name of the OP's photo. Somewhere along the line it started being called Black Coral. So while Black Coral is the common name, Black Gold is its correct name. What is commonly called Black Gold, is actually Compacta. This confused me so bad, but the in house experts got me straight!
