Midwest native plants

I purchased this at a native plant sale in May at the Topeka KS zoo. Blue mistflower (Conoclinium coelestinum) has quickly become a favorite, such a healthy and happy looking plant. It's just been rained on so the flowers are a bit less fluffy.

I've also planted a yellow coneflower and a giant blue hyssop, also from that native plant sale. The milkweed I planted immediately died. My parents have purple coneflower and will save me some seed for those. I have two heavily blooming rose verbena planted elsewhere in the yard.

We moved into our house a year ago, and other than a handful of lilies I was given, these are my first real additions. What native plants are you growing?
