And hey, 12? the answer I thought was wrong, might be right, because my alternative would need an apostrophe s to be a place.

To clarify (because I misread beside as besides at first) by ”beside” she means next to not instead of. In other words the rabbit is fine but the furniture should look more like a chest of drawers.

#6 is a complete mystery why the blowing of the nose is there. Think of the weight of the truck, and a letter of the alphabet together.

#5, think of the question mark as being one of......who what where or when.

I’m fine either way. My guess for the bonus is hell-bent.

#6 I have heavy blow or big blowout but from Jasdip’s clues I know that isn’t right. ☹️

Okay, just read Jasdip’s clue for #6 and came up with tunnel which makes no sense at all.

Oh, unless it is wind tunnel which is still pretty sketchy.

For #6, are the numbers and letter on the truck the clue? And a person sneezing could be sick, or ___, which leads me to a guess, which is probably wrong. But it's one of the few I have guesses for. And the few guesses I have are pretty far-fetched. Haven't even tried to figure out the bonus, but I like roxsol's guesses.

I have to say, this has been one of the most entertaining analyses we've had! I still have no idea what 3, 6 and 10 are. I have guesses for 5 and 12. I'm pretty comfortable with my answers for the others, in the main puzzle anyway. For the bonus, I like elbow, though I wouldn't have come up with that myself.

Letters, for #10 think of the specific part of an animal that is shown on the sign. Then look at what those birds are doing (like what planes do on a runway)

What I have for #3 is really grasping at straws but I don’t have anything else. It’s a place where you buy groceries. Or it could be a place in S. Africa if you changed a ‘d‘ to a ’t’.

#6 will be interesting to hear the answer.

Roxsol, I'm hedging my bets on #3 and going with "either of those". Because they both with, your second option works fine sound-wise.

I knew my answer of Anchorage was wrong, but I couldn’t think of anything else. Heck I’ll rationalize my answer as being correct: when someone asks my age, I answer ”what?” like I didn’t hear them. So there.

Tunnel? Nope, not getting that one at all. Not at all.

I got 3 but my alternative of Cape Town would have worked.

For 12, my first answer was Rabbit Hutch. A hutch is as much like a desk as a dresser is. and besides, ”hairdresser” is a person, but ”hairdresser’s” implies the location, the salon.

Ooh, I had hairdresser but I like rabbit hutch much better.👍🏻

Tunnel has me baffled but tomorrow is ”Celebrate Postmoderism Day ” so it kind of seems apropos.

That is not a dresser. I did try hare although nothing about this rabbit (short ears) indicated a hare but I am elastic on the whole. Humph. Oh well. this was a very challenging puzzle. Thank you Jasdip.

I got the rest. Angkor Wat was my first hit. I do know where and what that is. Still it wasn't as illuminating as you might think. Tunnel (which is the last thing I got) hardly qualifies as a place unless it was a specific tunnel but apparently not. It is what it is.

bpath, I also had to write them down because I would get the right answer on some then forget I already solved it and have to solve it again! very weird. I got half of them right away, then the rest after a clue. First I thought #12 might have been Rapid City. The furniture looked like a settee. Not sure how anyone could have gotten it with what looks like a desk. Very fun!

Well I did get more than 50% so I'm giving myself a pass! I also had Cape Town for #3 until Jasdip's clues and then I got supermarket.

And for #5 I also had Anchorage. For #10 I was too fixated on the birds being seagulls.

Oh my! I think I'm afraid to look at tomorrow's puzzle after this one!

I did get 2, 7 and 8 in a reasonable amount of time. And reading all the comments about #6 today got me to pondering on it. And I came up with 'tunnel' (and a headache) considering the numbers and the letter on the truck meant its weight in tons, and if you are sneezing you are probably sick, or ill, therefore 'ton ill', or (TA-DA) 'tunnel'. I don't think I've ever heard of either 5 or 11, and the rest were just beyond this poor old worn out brain.

I can't help but wonder about the people that think these things up.

The only one I didn’t get ever or at all was the anchor one. (Obviously with a lot of help.) I’ll have to look that up. Like others, I was hung up on Anchorage but couldn’t get it to work.

Usually I give up on the super hard ones, but this one was fun and kept my interest up. Not sure if it was the puzzle itself or the discussion. Thanks jasdip - and everyone!
