Need Help - Bathroom Mirrors

My bathroom project is almost done and I need advice on what type of mirror(s) I should hang. The vanity is 71 inches and the height between the bottom of the light fixtures to the back splash is 34 inches. Yeah, should have move the lights about 2 inches higher.

I would raise the height of the vanity lights first then proceed with millworkman's idea. Spend little more to get the looks you want. You will not regret.

It's really hard to find pics with the door between the vanities, especially a front on shot. I think I would like larger mirrors in your room...I found this with oversized ones, but you said you didn't want to clean so much mirror and I don't blame you, but maybe it will help you decide if the look is worth it. I don't think these are as large as yours and there is no door between them, but you can see that the scale of the mirrors is quite large and they've used hanging lights instead of sconces, which adds another dimension to such a large space. Need help with backsplash selection and mirror placement in bathroom

I love how they used the floor tile for the backsplash here and topped it with the mosaic. The floor tile may have been cut down to fit. Would that work with the materials you've already selected? I would rather see tile than 10" of counter material. It would be okay to leave a gap at the top of the mirror. I assume you're not putting lights over the mirror or I'd center it.

Cool bath! I like your designer's suggestion-if you prefer more streamlined style Or: if you're into vintage..one can find these French oval/arched mirrors..that can be hung on chains they come with. They are usually detailed a bit, either wavy edges, or interesting frames.. Of course it'd be more ..vulnerable than a mirror that's firmly attached to the wall. Or ceiling. I love ceiling mounted mirrors but I'm afraid smth with rods and all will overwhelm your space too much, in your case..the window is smaller, and is really lovely..I'd try to obscure it less, and go with shape of a mirror that contradicts it a bit, is softer...

I would stick with nickel for all the knobs, in both rooms. Black will look very stark with your other options, and in your bathroom, the floor gives you enough darkness. Round is better than square for knobs because over time as they need to be tightened, the square ones get crooked. I like your third lighting option, which looks more sophisticated. I would wait on the bathroom mirrors until you see the completed space. At that point, it will be more apparent whether metal or wood frames are better, and what shape/size is best.

Not a designer by any means, but when my mind tries to fill in what is missing, I see two round frameless mirrors.

Mirrors are definitely one of those personal choice things. I think you’ll benefit from photoshopping some ideas to see which jumps out to you. That is what we did as we were designing our home we built. And if you’re not familiar with photoshopping, you can always print things out and do it with scissors!

With a larger vanity with double sinks, you can either go with two smaller mirrors or one large. If you're looking for a more modern approach but still want to keep the bathroom interesting, we would recommend going with two smaller mirrors over each sink. If you're looking for something that's a bit softer, we would recommend our Cheyenne Nickel mirror. It's a rounded mirror with a thin frame so that you're maximizing your mirror space. If you want something a bit more rectangular, we would recommend our Highland Nickel mirror.
