You got a lot of color going on there paint the door either white to match the trim or maybe the black cuz your rough is brown your brick is orange red your door is red and you got siding a different color

The black shutters are not appropriate for the two small double windows and it is the first thing I saw when looking at your photo.

For the front door. B.M. Night Train. I think it will work beautifully with the orange brick.

You could also paint the garage door night train and paint the front door white. A double white door in a gloss finish would be lovely, too.

I like white doors and trim. The doors look great at Xmas with green wreaths and red bows.

I would change your shutters to sliding barn door shutters.

Have you considered a warm fall-colored tone? It would compliment the beige. Maybe a rusty orange, as long as it isn't too close in color to the brick.

No shutters at all. Even when non-operational a shutter is sized so that if it were closed it would cover the entire window. Also, yours are attached to the house, not the window frame and are vinyl. Too many strikes against keeping them on. Something easy to do, adding additional trim to the windows, would make a big difference.

Thanks for all these terrific ideas! BeverlyFLADeziner, unique idea on the shutters! And the rendering is SO helpful! The siding is fairly new so I’m not looking to replace it with a new color at this point. If we keep the beige, what are your thoughts on the other colors (door, shutters)?

I like the idea of black for the front door and additonal landscaping.

I like the black shutters because they tie in with the front door, however if you made them wider, I don't think that would be attractive since the windows are fairly wide as it is.
