Breakfast nook window conundrum - size and placement

We are finalizing plans for our build this week. Our ceilings are 10' tall and our goal is to use our breakfast nook as a formal dining space (hence the 16' x 7.5' dimension). Our current plans call for 3 x 6 windows with 1' transoms on top in the nook area. I just recently found out that these will be at 8' head height (and not at 9), which results in the height from the floor being ~12-14" and the head height to ceiling of ~24". I've searched for pictures and images with this setup, but have not come across anything.

All windows will be trimmed out and our baseboards will be ~6-7". Crown molding is ~7"-8".

Several questions for you houzzers:

  1. Should we be concerned about the height above the window being greater than the height below it, will it look off balance?
  2. Will there be issues with the baseboard and window trim? Will it look weird ?
  3. Would it be more preferable simply scratching the transoms and move the 3 x 6' window to 8' head height (losing 1' of window, but balancing space above and below it)
  4. Do the three windows on the rear of the nook look okay? Should we consider a wider middle window, like picture window? All windows in nook are currently single hung
  5. Other suggestions, feedback?
