Yes, I tried multiple times to delete the other posted question, to re-write it and include additional photos. The darn thing would not go away! LOL Then, when searching a few moments before I saw your reply, I was gleaming what I could by searching through Google results. I clicked on one that seemed to have the same question as me...wah wah wah...when it struck me instantaneously that it WAS my own question on Houzz...Then, a second after my Houzz question page came up, it disappeared as quickly and was not available. Guess I just deleted it ONLY FROM MY own searches . LOL Technology! :) Thanks again, Jan. You made an excellent point. I am going to have to be the one to live with it and see it daily. It wouldn't be bugging me so much if it felt right to have the colors a shade apart.

Pretty house. Don’t have any input regarding your colors as I am a fan of super white trim with a contrasting body color (although I do love a crisp white house) ...but...regarding the shutters, you could make cardboard samples for them and have someone hold them up to see how close they will be to one another. Whatever you decide about the upper windows, make sure you use hinges and shutter dogs for the shutters (looks like the architect put them on the elevation). With the shutters properly attached with hinges, you will have more space between each shutter than you would have if they were installed in todays typical way by basically pasting them onto the siding next to the window (plus they will look so much better and realistic). I would also consider omitting the shutters on your French doors. They will be HUGE if properly sized and don’t know that it will be a good look on your house.

A color describes a specific range of absorption, reflection, emission of light waves and when those are different it is a different color. This a common misunderstanding but it is a misunderstanding. Think of color as a physical address. 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, DC. is the physical address of the White House. If I say meet me at the White House tomorrow at noon and give you directions from my house, and you follow those directions perfectly but from your house... well you are not at the White House. You are at some other house, and that house doesn't suddenly become the White House because you followed the appropriate directions to get there. @Deena Ruiz - When you gave your painter a color, you gave him an address to arrive at, not directions on how to get there. He didn't end up there... At this point, there are so many industrial coatings that walk the line, it is hard to distinguish between products. Technically speaking, conversion varnish, which is what a lot of cabinet coatings are still using, is just lacquer with so much solid content that you have to add a hardener to get it to cure. So it is impossible to make any comment on the products he is using without knowing exactly what product he is using.

Yes, we have a hallway that I believe has Acadia White on the walls, and there is definitely a cream vibe going on there--one reason I'm a little reluctant to do the walls in the new bath with it against the tile. I had Navajo White on my list to check out, and have added Glacier White too based on looking at the Chroma values, though I think I want to go lighter than the trim vs. darker. (We have Edgecomb Gray in the existing bath and I like it against the tiles we're using, but it's definitely a gray, so need something lighter than that.) The room has a south-facing window with LED lighting (some in a bathroom fan where I don't think we have much control over color, and then wall sconces where we do).
