seeing different shades of white

Would this be acceptable to others for a kitchen remodel around 60K? The filler boards look much brighter white than the cabinet doors and boxes to me. The generic crown trim moulding around the top is yet to be painted but my issue is the filler boards from the cabinet manufacturer not looking like the same shade of white. These are RTA cabinets that my remodeling company purchased and have installed. I’m at a loss of what to do for a solution.

Id be disappointed and ask them to see what they can about the paint. Home projects can be rather frustrating.

Yes, I tried multiple times to delete the other posted question, to re-write it and include additional photos. The darn thing would not go away! LOL Then, when searching a few moments before I saw your reply, I was gleaming what I could by searching through Google results. I clicked on one that seemed to have the same question as me...wah wah wah...when it struck me instantaneously that it WAS my own question on Houzz...Then, a second after my Houzz question page came up, it disappeared as quickly and was not available. Guess I just deleted it ONLY FROM MY own searches . LOL Technology! :) Thanks again, Jan. You made an excellent point. I am going to have to be the one to live with it and see it daily. It wouldn't be bugging me so much if it felt right to have the colors a shade apart.

It's certainly easier for the painters to use the same color everywhere. I prefer some contrast between the wall and trim, but I don't know that there's enough contrast between the Polar Bear and the Ultra Pure White to be worth the bother.

I vote for cloud white everywhere. Or pick a different white (I was originally torn between those two but likely going with snowfall white). There'll be a trim transition somewhere that's awkward, plus I'd be concerned about clashing undertones and having two touchup paints to keep track of.

The modern farmhouse trend of white shiplap feature walls sounds like a version of what you are asking for. Not recommending shiplap, as that was done to death, but it would give you a sense of the effect of different texture/same color. I think texture (or wallpaper) would work better than color, because the way you see color varies from wall to wall with the light. So the difference in paint colors would need to be different enough for it to look like more than that normal variation in how the same color looks on different walls of a room. I'm not sure if you can get enough contrast with whites. Maybe if your definition of white includes sufficiently off whites. Something like white grasscloth wallpaper could be a nice accent. Or a paintable textured wallpaper.

It’s cheap RTA level. Adjust your expectations as to what is actually possible at that level.

Junk imports are 5 minute cabinets of all shades and colors batches. Move up in quality to semi custom and you get products that are factory finished all at the same time, with the same batch. Nothing sitting on the shelf aging out and changing colors. Or taking a boat ride from Vietnam and swelling up and flaking from the salt air.
