Pruning for height to grow indoors over winter.

I'm interested in possibly moving my Roma indoors for the winter with hopes I can maintain a productive plant. To be honest though I'm really not sure about pruning techniques when it comes to keeping the bush size short but still productive... I heard topping will stop flowering which would mean the end of producing? Is that right or could I top my plant and just keep it short and bushy and still get more tomatoes through the winter indoors?
