Again, a great product for wall tiles, but it will also work in residential bathrooms, where foot traffic is minimal. I can't help but picture orange with this blue. Or a saturated blue and white. A textured all white curtain would look great as well. (Doesn't look lime on my screen) - Red Barrel Studio - Wayfair Moroccan Orange - Wayfair I think you can have a lot of fun with your shower curtain. So many colours look good with this blue. The trick might be to match the colour intensity.

We have oak floors in our master bathroom and we did keep them when we remodeled. People told me to change to tile, but we like the warmth of the wood. It's worked out fine for us because kids don't use this bathroom. I think if kids are going to be using it, there may be more water issues. I find the wood floors in the kitchen harder to keep up with because it's such as busy work zone. If you do decide to keep them, there are a couple things you can do to mitigate any water concerns: consult a wood floor specialist, consider having your shower door (if using) swing both inward and outward, have a very good exhaust fan on a timer, and use a large cushy mat. We leave the door pushed inward while the exhaust fan is running so that if the door drips, it does so inside the shower. We haven't ever had a toilet overflow. I can't think of anything to do to mitigate that other than having a good toilet. We have a separate WC for the toilet, so we could have changed just that section to tile, but elected not to. If you have a separate WC you might consider doing that and maybe waterproofing the floor as well.

The tile done in the second picture of my first post is actually 6 x 36 wood look porcelain tile ( a different company though). It is laid the same way as mine. It is was done by the main tiler and looks beautiful. It is 1/8 grout lines no lippage at all! I would post a picture of it but it is all covered up right now. I was harsh about the second guy helping him because he had already cut a lot of corners with other things. He wasted a lot of tile getting cuts wrong - which the other contractors themselves were complaining about and bringing some to my attention. Some really bad cuts I noticed he tried to pressure me in to accepting - when I almost caved another one came to me and confirmed it was not good. He basically tiled my kitchen and left the molding on the wall. On top of that all the cuts against the molding were jagged. Like one part would up against the molding and the farthest was .5 to an inch. When I asked what would happen with it he was just answered that it would all be filled in with grout. Dark grout that would make it stand out even more. If that's the case, I can wrap this around my head and get over it. However, if hers is similar to mine and the good tiler is able to do it without lippage in that layout with smaller grout line - I would like to go for it. EDIT:: Is this another possible solution. When they relay it Would relaying it to overlap in thirds instead of 1/2 help. I am not to particular about that if it will help me get the smaller grout lines.
