More Plastic Spoon Flowers--they're evolving!
Comments (13)Thanks, all! nona--I havent tried a heat gun as i don't have one right now--trying to keep my cost down but thats an excellent idea! it would help prevent the occasional "whoops" scorch caused by the candles roxanne--Im actually thinking i will have to drop the price, as what i feel they are worth is not what people are going to be willing to pay for plastic flowers. My plan was $7 for the flowers with stems and $10 for the potted ones. That being said, I'll probably be dropping them to $5 and $7..we'll see. The problem is that, while i have less than a dollar into each flower, they take a LOT of time to make so I dont know if I'm going to get my time well enough paid for to make it worth selling them :( nanagrandma--what a great idea for hair clips! that's why i love this group--so creative!! toomuchglass--I get the colored spoons at a local party supply store--they have every color of the rainbow. i buy a bag of 24 (which makes 2 flowers) for $1.79...See MoreMy new idea for plate flowers awesome!!!
Comments (33)Absolutely beautiful! I especially love the one with the RED! The spoon idea is terrific. I like the copper bell thingies on the other post about plate flowers...I think it looks so nice and "clean", but spoons would certainly be less expensive...and they're recycled which I always love....See MoreFlower colors, real or fake photos?

It does have plumeria leaves!!!!! lol No wonder I could never find it searching the web! lol If it ever flowers, I'll post pics of it. Since the majority have said it's a fake, now I can't wait to see what it actually is! lol Have a good night! Crafty...See MoreWhat dish to represent the late 1800's?
Comments (19)The event was last night. Many thanks to Ruthanna for the recipe. I went with that, and we could leave a hint with the dish so I called them "Arizona beans." Some folks were on the right track & guessed the sequel to the book, which we also read. It was fun & there were interesting offerings - from bread & beer representing "Pillars of the Earth" to a lamb dish representing "The Red Tent" to a beautiful Armenian pudding representing a dish from a book we read about that country. Thanks again folks!...See MoreFori
