That's not too bad a seam, but they really missed your sink placement. Your front rail should be as wide as the rear and the rear as wide as the front. Rookies. Good luck cleaning behind that faucet. I'd replace the sink with an apron front which would replace the faucet seam with two inconspicuous seams at each end of the sink and eliminate the front seam. That fat front rail would become the rear. 4th post down.

I hear your frustration. And I feel your stress through the phone. 🤦‍♀️. From what I can see in the picture the seam looks fine. I agree with you on the overhang looking a bit small. Ask. Doesn’t hurt to ask the GC what happened. Were these the measurements you oked? ( I’m not asking you , this is what I think you should say to the GC lol) it’s not bad. At all! I’ve seen a whole lot worse and this is definitely overseeable. But again. Why not ask. I also feel like you’ll feel better about it if it was your mistake. Anyways regardless the kitchen looks really nice. Love all the white and that refreshing pop of blue. Best of luck.

Thank you. I knew that the jobs done were terrible, yet the fix guy stood there while I explained my concerns like a deer caught in headlights. Then finally just said, "So I can go?" That's the type of people my design firm has constantly brought in. The entire project has been their crews doing something, us asking "Why? That looks terrible," then the same crew coming in to incorrectly fix said item...rinse, lather, repeat. Back to the counters, they were never protected after install and I caught TONS of the workers treating them like a workbench. It was maddening, but even though I told our designer that we wanted them protected, that never happened. And here we are. I have no doubt they are going to try to convince me to ignore the issues, but I am standing firm.

Kitchen floor and living room, dining, entry, halls: Karastan Belleluxe engineered hardwood: Pashima finish. There is a beautiful gray in this wood that might not be visible in these pictures. I'm obsessed with this floor. Specs: 3/4" oak, seven inch planks (maybe 7-1/2"). Fake slate porcelain tile by Daltile in black for the adjacent family room where the dogs live, and laundry room, wet bar area. Our number one choice for quartz: Arizon Tile Silver Stallion Our current top choice for backsplash tile: 2-1/2 by 9-3/4 Arizona Tile in Pearl (very pale gray). Floor, Pearl Concerto Tile at the top, Silver Stallion quartz sample, Concerto tile in White. Flooring is locked and loaded, delivery is the end of this week or early next week. Cabinets arrive next Monday. I hope our selections work well together. What do you think, @Diana Bier ?
