Friday blooms
Comments (5)Aloha looks like the flower is waking up from a nap, and pushing back the covers. :) Francis Meilland has torn petals...but there's just something about that rose that moves it up to ethereal. I can't stop staring at it. Wow!! Thank you!!! Carol...See MoreFriday's Blooms from the Southern Tier of NY

Comments (11)Nice group David. SCREEN PATTERN has a nice pattern showing. Carolina Cool Down looks a lot like ( but not exactly) Ribbit Ribbit which I grow here. I noticed that similarity when Debra has posted here photos of CCD. We had a couple of hours of light rain after midnight and suppose to get more later today. I don't count on it but at least the temp has dropped a bit today. Stay cool and hope for more rain. Julia...See MoreFriday's Blooms
Comments (6)The next three are Bud Bennett intros: FOOLISH KISSES: A cute small flowered one. COCKY AND BOLD: This one is tall and big. I love the open throat and the color. WILD CHERRY WINE: One of my all time favorites CONNIE CAN'T HAVE IT: Polytepal today. Great plant. I have one of its offspring in TWEAKED OUT which is a UFO. Just acquired it in the fall. BLACK FALCON RITUAL: A real standout this morning. I love the ligher midrib bisecting the petal. This is a great looking plant with good plant habit. LILLIAN'S VAPOR TRAIL: Dug into it for a sale this spring so the scapes are not as tall. FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE: It has struggled for several years here. I decided to move it last fall and it is finally rewarding with 2 scapes per fan (as its claim to fame). I have three fans with 6 scapes. Can't wait to see how it increases. Thanks for looking and have a great evening or day (depending on when you see this). David...See MoreMaryl (Okla. Zone 7a)
