The reviews on Amazon don't give me that warm fuzzy feeling. :) There's only 6 reviews and half of them are bad. That is, if you read the actual review. There are a couple of 4 stars that don't sound like they should be 4 stars if you read the comment. Now that it actually exists, I wonder how many people are willing to spend 30 bucks plus shipping for it. As a side note, this thread seems like one that lots of people feel the need to sign up for a Houzz account, make one comment on this thread pointing everyone at SwitchFlip and then not participating in any other discussions. Is it possible that these people have an ulterior motive in promoting this product? :)

I've been spending days trying to change the 3 way switch to 3 way smart switch. I've already identified the line in box A and the load in box B. attached it to the common terminals in each box. When putting back on the dumb switches, no problem. Works like it always has. When putting on the smart switches, the light stays on and there's no power coming from source/line to box A or any of the wires in box B either, obviously. light just stays on and the switches do nothing. The only thing i can think of is, in box A, can't figure out why the white wire, in the 3 wire bundle with the 2 travelers, was the load in box B, but in box A, it is twisted with all the neutral wires. Then also in box A, what i expect would be the neutral (the white wire that came in the bundle with the black line wire) is nutted together with the line in from a different bundle for a different switch in the same two gang wall box. I'm almost a 100% sure it was like this the whole time before I even messed with it (however I did have a neighbor try to help and he rearranged a few things that I thought completely reversed). Also keep in mind that when I wire it back up the the dumb switches, it works fine. Some one please help. Photos attached.

My neighbor switched to LED outdoor Christmas lights last year. What I didn't like was how puny the light was....toooooo dim. Big contrast between our C9 reds and his LEDs. We usually run four or five strands of outdoor lights 24 hours a day for the month. We turn off the regular outdoor lights for December. In the house, the tree and a lighted garland and a couple of small lighted things are the extent of it. Our electric bill doesn't rise that much...a couple of dollars from the lights. One of the keys is that we turn off our regular outdoor lamp post and garage light. Indoors one lamp doesn't get used during Christmas. It's a trade-off. We are slowly replacing all our incandesent bulbs in the house. I'll miss the warmth of the old bulbs, but the new energy savers are looking better and better each year. I had trouble with the Lutron dimmer with my LEDs. My electrician troubleshooted for an hour or so, re-read, and re-read the paper (that they never read). Anyway, he said he was going to a conference and would ask. Came back to say, (despite it saying differently on the boxes) that the Lutron dimmer (master) can only be used with the companion dimmer (this is on a 3 way switch). I re-read, and now see you are only dealing with 1 switch total (whereas, mine have 2, so the switches have to talk to each other). So, not really the same. But, I suspect that something is just a little off still with Lutron LED switches. ALSO, I had read, in trying to troubleshoot ours, that there has to be a certain amount of electrical draw for them to work well. And, finally, a final consideration, check to see that the switch isn't on some sort of weird programming. On my lutron switches, there is a little piece that can be removed, then you push something and hold it for some amount of time, to reprogram it... Do your directions indicate that is at all a possibility?
