Plus, ha ha, with all of the extra stuff (pool was not planned, etc.) we are about out of money! teddas, thank you very much! The ball light is one of my favorites. I only got to see all of my lights in the catalogs and not live, so I was hoping they'd be OK. I am happy! The foyer light is the Troy La Paloma. The cabinets are Haas Monticello maple with eggshell finish and pewter glaze. They really tried hard to talk me out of that color because they said "no one has ever done that before" haha, but I thought it would go well with my slate floors and granite. The kitchen is also a bit dark, so I wanted to go with light-colored cabinets. The floors in the downstairs are Brazilian Cherry (final coat goes on next weekend) which took a LOT of time to source because I insisted on using only responsibly-harvested wood from a highly-regulated and certified company. (Those delays caused a lot of rolled eyes on the part of the builder and contractors.) Upstairs are Tiger Wood. I need to get pics of that wood - it's VERY cool! The master tile I will have to see about getting that color for you. I LOVE my master bathroom. The house we are in now was built in 1850 and the master is the size of a closet. I will not know what to do with all that space. The icing on the cake in there is the heated floors. Mmmmm. Toasty! :) Good luck with your build. My husband and I built our current barn ourselves, so I plan to enjoy every minute of the new one with its bells and whistles. Only two weeks to go now! I am sure the horses will not even notice as long as they get fed on time. ;)

I'm a fan of Porter's "Beige Telin" in flat, (or flat enamel which has less sheen but is washable). I've also used Porter Cashmere and Palomino colors too (they are beige/brown tones). I think if you Google search that you can see pics of it. I have "plant shelves" too and I've always heard to go darker than the wall color if it's an accent.

I would do everything to the room first and then think about window treatments. The clean no curtain window could work here especially if privacy is not a concern. The side chairs would be nice upholstered in an accent color to add warmth and softness. The mantel is a bit low so I would fill the wall mantel top to ceiling with a mirror or large painting...leave the sofa as is, they are nice I think and add pillows in your accent colors.... Toile chairs would be fun! Example of large mirror and large greenery over the mantel

To answer questions, I was able to add more pictures. Here is where the chandelier will hang. It is centered in the room. This is looking into the bath from center entry between closets on left and right. The room is roughly 20ft left to right, with shower and my vanity at opposite ends, and 12 ft from the entry to the back wall alcove where the tub will sit. The blue tape is stuck to the mount where the light will hang, and is 36" long just to see proportions. My husband standing under it is still a few feet from his head (he is 6'3"). Ceilings are all sots of height as you can tell but roughly 10-12' max. The chandelier above is L29w29xH32.5. Or they have a smaller one 25x25x28. Which size?? Oh and I don't have pic of the vanity as they are covered. But the suggested pics above of dark vanities is spot on color. My larger vanity is to the right here buried under the ladder etc.!
