PBDriver_uk.exe and Choice Guard - Please help!
Comments (9)Oh, thank you, Owbist, but I found Windows Live Essentials listed in Add/Remove and told it to "repair" itself, but the messages on startup have not gone away, and in fact, I did not see anything like Search Enhancement or Choice Guard in the list of elements in WLE that was displayed after the repair job, so it seems as if there is some other program I need to install. If only Microsoft would TELL us the name of whatever program needs to be installed in cases like this! In a cruel twist of fate (lol), this morning I found to my dismay that in my attempts to remedy my problem, I have somehow added the Windows Messenger sign-in box to all the other junk that I have to click and remove every time I start my computer. I suppose, since I once before managed to get rid of that, I will find a way to do it again, but I am beginning to think I am fighting a losing battle with Windows Live....See MoreTime for a change ....need help with sofa/ upholstery choices
Comments (15)I am frustrated that I can't get an accurate color for the pictures of the fabric samples I have. Every picture I take washes out the colors. Outsideplaying, I have samples in both green and the gold/ brown you have suggested. They seem to work well with my rug. I also have a bold stripe that might work for an accent piece. If I go with a fabric as opposed to leather what combination of sofa, love seat or chairs would you use and what combination of colors and patterns would make for an interesting room.Should I stick with the roll arm sofa style in my previous post or would a different style work better. Here is one of my stripe fabric sample .....again the color is not accurate but I'm wondering if the scale of pattern will work in the room. The colors in the fabric sample match perfectly with with my rug. Both the rug and the sample have chocolate browns, bronzes and rust colors in addition to the gray green and black. I may switch to a different camera to see if that makes a difference....See MoreHelp please - product to - spot dry cleaning upholstery?
Comments (4)I have two of the Lane outdoor wicker rockers on our screened porch. The cushions for them were very expensive when we purchased them in 2000. The fabric is supposedly not drycleanable or washable. We've kept them relatively clean, however, by keeping them under roof (porch or lanai) and by using a mixture of Dawn and water, with a bit of Lysol thrown in, too. First we vacuum the cushions with the upholstery brush. Then, spray the cushions all over with a light spray of 409 or Fantastic (extra on the spots). Then we dip a white terry washcloth into the cleaning bucket, wring it about half, and clean each side of the cushion. You may have to go over them two or three times if they are really dirty. We rinse the cloth in a separate bucket of clear water. If you do this about twice a year, your cushions will be clean without fading. You have to pay close attention to piping and the sides of box cushions, and we usually dry them in the sun. While they are drying we vacuum and clean the actual chair, so that the clean cushion goes back into a clean chair. If they are really dirty you can take them out in the yard and beat them until a lot of the dust is either out or brought to the surface, and then vaccum and clean. You can use a brush to get into the area around the piping, if that has been neglected for a long time....See MoreHelp Me Find Upholstery Fabric For Dining Room Chairs
Comments (3)Does the chair you show have only one hind leg? I would think that would make it more difficult to move these chairs around. Also, I would think these chairs would be heavy to maneuver, especially by children and older people. I like the first pattern you show, and I don't think that you need to match colors from one area to another exactly. The mind will perceive them as separate rooms. At the same time I would wonder whether there isn't an overuse of this color, since it is a rather strong one. You might consider a beige material instead or beige with a subtle teal pattern,...See MoreFlick Joseph
