Blooms on Wednesday

The heat is beginning to build after two really nice days, and there is no rain in sight until the weekend and that isn't a high probability. Here are a few from today--a little different from what I usually show.

Photography has been difficult this year with no clouds in the sky. This is Cave Lion--a bit washed out.

Fiesta Latina is a great grower with a bright flower.

Fireberry is a big flower. We have too many of these big reds and some will have to go.

Bob has most of the Gryphon series. This is G. Chinese Fire--a big flower with richer color than the previous one.

This is my pick of the Gryphon series. It is G. Warsaw Rising.

I'm a King Bee is another big flower.

This is the ffo for Phill Warbasse. It is a half sib to Rose F. Kennedy. The scape is taller and the flower is smaller.

So Many Stars

This one is new to the garden and we are excited about it. It is Thunderbird Dancer from Mike Derrow. Mike's daylilies do very well here.

I didn't get as many seedling pictures as I usually do because I have been trying to make some crosses while the temperatures are down. Here is one I did get.

Hello Screamer X Cherry Pie a la Mode

That's all for today.
