Help! 2nd attempt - what color roof should I choose
Comments (13)I hate to waste peoples' time while I'm learning. You can test your attempts by using the "Preview Message" function. You can preview your attempt, and then don't post the final message. I'd like to learn to quote people too. This is also done with angle brackets -- these things . Here's how. 1. Highlight the part of the text you'd like to quote. 2. Right click. 3. Click on "copy". 4. Then type two italic commands, like this: -- EXCEPT that instead of square brackets, use angle brackets. You'll notice that the two commands are the same, except that the second command has a slash. The first command starts the italic, then second command ends it. 5. Place your cursor between the two italic commands. 6. Right click. 7. Click on "Paste". This will paste your text between the italic commands. The command will look like this: I'd like to learn to quote people too. EXCEPT that you will have angle brackets, not square brackets. 8. Click on "Preview Message". 9. You will now see your italics, like this: I'd like to learn to quote people too. This system also works with underscore commands (use a "u") and boldface commands (use a "b") and strikeout commands (use a "s")....See MoreI'm getting a new front door what color should I do the interior side.
Comments (7)Lars, if I had your beautiful door, I'd have it the same inside and out as well. I don't know if I've ever seen the front of your house, but it looks fantastic with your interior. I love your colors BTW. My front door is white inside and out, as is the trim inside and out. However, I don't think I'd mind seeing a different color temporarily when I open the door. It's kinda like, oh hello, nice to see you. But I don't think I'd want that color all on its own inside my house. Your door is an exception....See MoreInstalling New Roof Should I put in Skylights or Solatubes?
Comments (4)blyblu, I had Velux skylights put into an addition at my former house and they were perfect for the 25 years I lived there before selling. No leaks. Coastal Washington and lots of rain. Love the house I'm in, but I sure do miss a skylight in my bathroom. Made for exceptionally good light at the vanity....See MoreWhat colour pavers should I get for around our pool?re
Comments (2)Thanks. But I went with Rinox sky grey for the interlock and coping. The quadra 32x32 slab. I chose them because they are a light grey with a little bit (about 20%) of beige and I wanted them to blend with the beige stucco of our house. And they are light but not so light that they will need to be sealed and will stain easily (we want low maintenance!) and we will accent them with a bit of black with a fire table, furniture, cabana … etc. . Our pool is fairly dark (it’s called storm grey or graphite grey) so I wanted contrast between the coping and the pool, which we wouldn’t have had if we had used coping in a darker colour. Pool is in and the stone will be laid tomorrow!...See Moreturtlexings24
