Comments (6)It happened to several of my responses a couple of months ago. I'd hit preview and nothing would happen. Because I have HughesNet and sometimes the satellite is just ?full?, I'd grown accustomed to glitches. I'd open another window and watch the GW window for some sign of recognitions and sometimes it would happen and sometimes not....See MoreThe post I've been waiting to post - It has begun (with pictures)
Comments (6)Goodness! The wine opener! I'm packing my (whole) two drawers tonight. Everything else is packed up and ready to go. I'm pulling that out now. We tear out Saturday morning. You must be very excited! When do the new countertops come? I'll have not only no heat, but no outer wall on the northwest end of the house and I live near you! Figures it's the coldest weekend of the year! Stay warm!!...See MoreHas this backsplash been posted?
Comments (17)Great job with the calf Enduring! That is precious. Well FIL and his brother decided at the very last possible minute they were not ready to sell us the farm. It's mind boggling because in another year they will start renting so they can actually retire since they're in their 70s. :( Long story short we ended up moving back to KC so DH could be closer to work which has been good for his career. I'm still a SAHM, and we have been remodeling our house we bought in July. It's only on 3 acres in a lake community. It was a foreclosure, and people still stop by thinking we will flip it. So I made a deal with DH if someone comes along with the right number (especially cash) then he could pick out some land and build that beautiful little house our architect designed for the farm. We miss the farm, but with the reception we had at the farm and at this point in DH's career we agreed it would be nice just to buy 40 or 50 acres around KC so we can ride our ATVs. Good luck Enduring. I have been thinking about going back to work since DD is in kindergarten this year. I work on the house and volunteer in her school two days a week....See MoreHas the Cooking Forum Been Deleted?
Comments (20)It wasn't there for a few days (nor was Home Decorating), but both have re-appeared. Apparently, instead of testing this new format and getting it right before posting it, it's sort of a "make it up as one goes" kind of deal. VERY bush league....See MoreMark Bischak, Architect
