are we talking breathing noses or smelling noses? i'll say one at each end ... a smeller and a breather ... yuck, to be born with a smeller at the wrong end!

Decades ago I was working in a very busy place. One of the secretaries came out to the very busy nexus processing area and as she handed me some paperwork, she scootched into a very contorted position just before she left that room.
