Help! Need to share office w/DH & 4-yr old! Long...
Comments (1)can you go "paperless" with your files for your home business? if you were to share the files on your computers, via a home network, it would eliminate the need for you to run back and forth between offices. you mention an office in the garage...is this a real office? complete with walls, rug and air conditioning..or is your DH sandwiched between the cars and the lawn equipment..lol. if it's a real office, then i would leave it as it is, i konw if my husband had an office in the home, work would take him 10 times as long and he'd be 100 times more stressed and frustrated!...See MoreNeed help selecting furniture to make a functional office/guest room
Comments (14)Kingsley and Pearson(both done in Vintage Belgian with the Tempur-Pedic mattress)…Kingsley is older model that is no longer available and Pearson is a current model, but very similar to Kingsley. Maybe they tweaked the Kingsley model into the Pearson…not sure. We’ve also slept/sat on one (done in leather) that our son/DIL had and gave us when they did away with their guest room. Don’t know which model that is....See MoreNeed advice to make family room into office/den and tv room
Comments (3)I would float a sofa in the center of the room with the tv on the wall opposite of the door. I would place a desk on the wall where the door is and a storage unit in the hallway. here are some renderings I made Here is where you can purchase each item shown Rug- https://www.luluandgeorgia.com/products/marisol-indoor-outdoor-rug Sofa- https://www.lightology.com/index.php?module=prod_detail&prod_id=1125044&option_id=1125057&utm_content=9851002-02290NZZ&gad=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmtGjBhDhARIsAEqfDEcDfO0hVdYyCEiZhEzGT0_nqvpbQcsCbnmGZzZhFlzQ4Etjypt2RUcaAvTHEALw_wcB Chair- https://www.maisonsdumonde.com/FR/fr/p/fauteuil-en-croute-de-cuir-camel-santiago-121926.htm Media Console- https://www.westelm.com/products/mid-century-media-console-large-h418/?catalogId=71&sku=7668804&cm_ven=PLA&cm_cat=Google&cm_pla=Furniture%20%3E%20TV%20%26%20Media%20Stands&region_id=669950&cm_ite=7668804_14464751978&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmtGjBhDhARIsAEqfDEf_R7P8SGqdVBCt86AQG2HGcMyWZGR-Mo-0mt5ggB7gvi8YihpQAyYaAoNCEALw_wcB Desk- https://www.westelm.com/products/mid-century-desk-acorn-h209/?pkey=s~mid%20century%20desk~50 Storage Unit- https://www.westelm.com/products/mid-century-chifforobe-h1144/?catalogId=71&sku=4664991&cm_ven=PLA&cm_cat=Google&cm_pla=Furniture%20%3E%20Dressers&region_id=669950&cm_ite=4664991_14464751978&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmtGjBhDhARIsAEqfDEeQ5Au8X6vgJp_KLp2QWAENTx7mBZsuRo2gPGGlRDN2GBkTd0PF5rYaAse8EALw_wcB...See MoreHelp decorating/fixing guess-room/home office
Comments (14)Small tweaks are all that is needed here. I really like the current layout. It feels spacious, easy to enter in to. The bed is pretty massive and needs to be on a big wall, where it is. It also really anchors the accent wall paper. Just pull it out from the wall about 5”. Hang the curtains wider on the wall and straight down. Tall plant feels trapped in the corner. Remove the blue chairs from the room. Place big plant there instead. Move the little pouff table next to the day bed to rest a drink or phone on when you lounge. How often do you work from that desk and is the chair good for your back? It really doesn’t look bad and I’d consider back comfort first. Remove objects above closet. All of your artwork is humg too high. Hamg so the middle of the pieces are about 56” from the ground, (Same with the pics in your hallway.)...See Moredecoenthusiaste
