Comments (1)$7000 does seem high unless he is quoting higher end units. The indoor coil needs to be replaced to match the outdoor unit. Plus it is what usually is leaking anyway. Since the indoor coil is built into most blower units, chances are it would be easier just to replace all. Comments (2)No. Leave a gap between the tile and top equal to the thickness of the grout lines. Fill the gap with color matched silicone after you're done grouting. Comments (3)Sounds Interesting! Please post a pic of of the assembly IDing what poped off. What did you do to prevent it from happening again? I have a Cambel Hosfield 1 HP I purchased 1972 that still Runs great (serviced every 2-3 years depending on the use. From my 2-3 year Inspections Related to use I feel it has held up well. I hope I am not repeating info. My Pic might show the ck list and repairs. My Majors: 1. A Timer to tuun off power if I forget. 2. Dated oil changed & note of condition. 3. A Gal Pipe Below The Tank to hold Moisture vs the Tank. 4. Repairing Compressors andTanks taught me to Buy and Maintainying vs Patching. 5. I do have a pin hole with a s/n screw and rubber washer fix over 20 Yso. 6. I also have New Donated tank waiting if I ever notice some holes in the Tank!!! Past problems: 1. Comments (14)When we reused our stainless sink, the fabricator and contractor would not do a positive reveal because it has been installed with a zero reveal first. They said they could not remove the adhesive or caulk or whatever it was stuck on the sink flange without damaging the appearance of said flange.
